The 3rd Season of the hit reality television show Bullrun is right around the corner. Fans are getting excited as soon the chaos, mayhem and non stop action that is Bullrun will be on air. For those unfamiliar with Bullrun, it is a fast paced reality show that mixes all the best aspects of a road rally with the hardcore action from racing challenges. Think of it as an automotive obstacle course, on steroids.

Recently I was able to sit down with Bruno Riberon, driver of Team Corvette. Together with his co-driver Lisette, they piloted their 1987 Chevrolet Corvette dubbed ‘Corvettron’ on the 3rd Season of Bullrun. Below, are his answers to 10 questions about his time on the show. (more…)

Michael Schlee

The 8 Cylinder engine is synonymous with performance vehicles. The V8 configuration could be the most famous engine of all time. Who doesn’t know what a V8 is, or recognize its awesome snarl?

Michael Schlee

So what qualifies as car as an Icon? Many great cars have come and gone in North America over the years, such as the Countach, Viper, Supra, Chevelle, Cobra, etc. But the question is, were they truly icons? Great cars, yes; amazing cars even, but true long lasting icons? They were all important during their time in history, but for one reason or another, they were all discontinued. Also, being that we live in North America, we are only dealing with icons that made it to our shores.

There are a couple of ‘tricks’ in the auto industry to produce the maximum amount of power out of an engine. There are superchargers, turbochargers and direct injection to name a few. All of these systems have their pros and cons behind them.
