i owned 30 of the pontiac cars. i had a 1982 parrisienne that was equipped with a 267IR C.I.D. was a former detective car. i found out only 200 of those 267IR motors were put into those cars. it went faster than a TRANS AM or firebird. made a lady driving a ‘vette blush. lol. AWESOME handling they had. i still have my 1995 grand am 4 door SE. i REFUSE to let it go.

the torque said on the Ecoboost is way off on this. Yes it does have 365hp but has 420lb-ft of torque…not 465.

I have a 2009 Mazda 5 and love it. I wouldn’t say that the dealership service in Ajax has been good at all and in fact, I won’t say which dealership, but they lied alot!
Mazda Canada to their credit, agreed and the issues was resolved eventually. I now take the car to Midway Mazda in Whitby for better service.
The Mazda 5 is a solid car. Don’t expect any zoom zoom, but as an overall people mover it is great. One thing though, the third row seating is absolutely useless as there is zero legroom and if you have car seats, you have to be a yoga instructor to get to them. If you need the third row, go see Chrysler about a Grand Caravan.

The Versa is a great car. What reviewers never tell you is how it impacts the owners in a very real way. For example. I have two kids and anything short of an SUV, meant that car seats forced the front seats forward to the point of eating your kneecaps. Not so with the Versa. It has backseat room like no other car in its class. I am just unde 6 feet tall and typically I drive with the seat all the way back in most cars. This usually means that there is zero room for anyone in the backseat and especially so with car seats. This car has full size backseat room. which means that the front seats need not be shoved forward to accomodate REAL life. As for the sportiness of the car. Look for sportiness in this catagory of car, buy a Mini or Fiat. For real life however, the Versa is good on gas, roomy, confortable and offers a no nonsense approach to getting from a to B with a little style to go along with it.
I highly recommend the Versa. I don’t work for Nissan and I currently drive a Sentra in fact, but as much as I like the Sentra, the Versa is more practical for car seats. Nissan builds great cars and this Versa is another example of that.

Oh yea this bad boy has a 4.4 liter V8 now! That is some pretty awesome power in there now! I would supercharge it though just to give it that extra tourque! :]

When these so-called auto experts review a vehicle they use these stupid remarks like “the 4.6V8 is no match for mileage like the 1.3 three cyl. Well; no kidding and you were able to figure that one out all by yourself. I just bought a 2010 ford explorer EB instead of the “11 because when I want to pass a car on the highway I know that I have HP under the hood instead of a bunch of noise and you will find out in real life the underpowered 4s and 6s will burn just as much fuel relative to the job they are doing.Our old explorer just turned 245K and had one drivers door lock motor replaced other than oil changes and it is a good NA built vehicle. Next time I buy anything will also have a V8 and will be a NA vehicle

Hello Jill
FYI, For further reference, I recently was involved in a 3 vehicle accident with my 2009 Dodge Ram 1500, and did sufficient damage to write off. A Honda Civic ran thru a stop sign, and was charged.
I was travelling at 30km per hour, and damaged everything in front. Shoved the motor into the firewall, front winshield shattered with passenger side airbag going off. The front frame, designed to absorb energy, was split like a Y in the front, and also the cab was shoved into the truck bed.
I was quite pleased with Dodges safety performance, in an otherwise very stressful situation.
I am gladly going to take the cheque from Insurance, and put it down on a 2011 Dodge Ram.

If you have at least one weapon, like four-wheel drive and a set of boots is the small SUV for you. I love my HUMMER it can go off road and tow stuff and chicks dig it. it can drive in a flood and dry sandy beaches.

2010 Vibe has a hesitation, a miss, a delay in acceleration, a hiccup after stepping on the gas which is obvious to me all the time and there to catch my attention whenever I try to go. It’s not a shift issue, shifting up & down is fine.

I have loved Cadillac for years and I love the new XTS. I to would like a choice of a v8 and rear wheel drive such as the Lexus LS460. The style is great and I noticed one of my favorite colours is mentioned.

I was very impressed with the Hyundai GLS ride,comfort,features & quietness .Honda Civic is outclassed in every way by this car.Toyota Corolla is too boring & also in need of a redesign.Ford Focus is probably the only real competition but not available yet. The Chev Cruse has a smoother ride but more windnoise,kind of bland generic styling & is more expensive.Mazda 3 has that ugly smily face & not so great fuel ecomomy.VW Jetta looks like a 10 year old japanese car with very plain interior& the 2 litre engine is OLD TECH.Hyundai’s distinctive styling ,class leading fuel economy,price point/equipment level & better class leading 5 year warranty would probably seal the deal for me subject to test drive of the Focus when it arrives.Nice to see that entry level cars are so improved from not so long ago.
