Designed For Active Lifestyles

After a successful debut in 2007 and several significant improvements in 2009, the Nissan Sentra returns in 2010 with even more enhancements to its style, space, quality, performance and interior flexibility – designed specifically for those in need of a vehicle to fit their active lifestyles.

For 2010, Sentra adds a number of significant enhancements including Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and Traction Control (TCS) now available on 2.0 and 2.0S models and standard on 2.0 SL and SE-R models.

Sentra’s exterior also has several revisions for 2010, including a new front fascia with new grille and new headlights and taillights. Sentra’s 16” alloy wheels will also be a new style and the SE-R 17” wheels will have a new colour paint and finish also found on the SE-R Spec V. SE-R Spec V models will  also feature summer performance tires. Three new colours are added in 2010 – Kona Bean, Anodized Orange and Snow Cap White with Matador Red, Midnight Metallic, Polished Granite, Metallic Ice and Arctic White are no longer available. The Machines that Made Up the Route 66 Rally
Michael Schlee

The Route 66 Rally is over. To say it was fun would be an understatement. It was one of the best experiences I could ever recommend to someone.

The Rally Ends With a Bang
Michael Schlee

The Route 66 Rally wound down on Friday with a blowout awards ceremony at the Big Texan Steak House. To say the 50 teams participating in the event had a good time would be a gross understatement. The organizers of this amazing event deserve a huge shout out. So, here it is; way to go Scott Spielman and Tony Intrieri!

On the 3rd day of rally, Team Autotrader.ca (me) stuck to our plan of touring the historic Route 66 as opposed to racing to the finish line for the quickest time.

We Find The Original 1926 Road
Michael Schlee

The 2nd day of the Route 66 Rally proved to be even better then the first day. Our group of site seers had grown and ‘The Mother Road’ offered up even more historic sites for our viewing pleasure.

Famous bridges, service centers, landmarks and roadways were all over Route 66. At one point, we even ventured onto one of the few remaining stretches of the original Route 66 dating back to 1926. This single lane road was in rough shape, but still existed. It could quite possibly be the highlight of the entire trip.

Travelling Down One the World’s Most Famous Roads
Michael Schlee

When I first decided to enter this rally, I couldn’t wait to compete and test my navigation skills against 50 other competitors. However, a mere 30 minutes into the rally and I realized it was more about the trip down historical route 66 then the rally itself.

I spent the day driving the whole route 66 from Joliet, Illinois to Rolla, Missouri. Along with Brian Shannon in his 2010 Camaro, we took in the sites and sounds of the storied road.
