There are a couple of ‘tricks’ in the auto industry to produce the maximum amount of power out of an engine. There are superchargers, turbochargers and direct injection to name a few. All of these systems have their pros and cons behind them.

Turbocharging seems to be the most popular these days when it comes to boosting engines. Its size, weight, and potential outputs all make it a versatile tool.

 

With there being so many turbocharged cars on the market, I thought I would list what are arguably the best turbo sports cars. This unfortunately left out a lot of great sports cars more attainable for the common man. Stay tuned for a future post on these vehicles.

    What about the Saleen S7? The Barabus TKR? And the SSC Ultimate Aero? I would take those 3 over the GTR, the EVO and the STI any day.

    One other thing, the Cayenne is an SUV. Should it even be in the same category as all the others?
