The Chevrolet Optra (2004-2007) was a re-bodied Daewoo. In other markets it sold as the Chevrolet Lacetti. Chevrolet started to sell it in Canada to grab more of our lucrative compact car market share. In 2005, you could walk into a Chevrolet Dealership and have your pick of a brand new Cavalier, Optra or Cobalt. I am sure this made market sense somehow. The Optra was powered by a 119HP 2.0L Inline-4.
