BMW has a history in Canada of offering a smaller European sourced engine in its 3 series then in the USA. Previously, there was a 320i sedan that featured a 2.2L Inline-6. Currently, there is the 323i sedan that features a 200HP 2.5L Inline-6. Beside the smaller engine, other options are stripped from the car to give it a $5000 lower starting price.
